We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Connie Sue Franzen (Plainfield, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Brase and Mardell Brase (Meyer). She is survived by: her husband Steve Franzen of Plainfield; her son Nick Franzen of Plainfield; and her siblings, Kathy Calease (Jerry) of Waverly, Karla Beckman (Ken) of Parkersburg, Gary Brase (Rhonda) of Plainfield and Terry Brase (Deb) of Nashua. She is also survived by animals, but especially cats.
Public graveside services, with social distancing due to the COVID 19 pandemic, will be held at St. John Lutheran Church-Western Douglas Cemetery on Wednesday, May 20, at 11:45 a. m., with Pastor Kim Thacker officiating.
