He was predeceased by: his parents, Levern Wetherell and Pauline Wetherell (Mohor); his sister Doris John; his wife Betty Lou Joyce Muilenburg; his mother-in-law Laverna Muilenburg Peters; and his sisters, Dorothy Davis (Ralph), Ione (Chuck Sievert) and Ruth Miller (Bernard).
He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Mary) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Rodney (Joe) of Hudson, IA and David (Debra) of Edmond, OK.; his close friend Kathleen Whittenburg of Peterson, IA; his siblings, Bill of Fairfield, CA and Janis Jim Wilson; his daughter Sherry Kolpin (Dana) of West Branch, IA.; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille Busse (Lloyd) of Marcus, IA and Clifford Muilenburg (Susan). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
