With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas P. Kunze of Persia, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kunze and Mary Kunze (Pierce). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Kunze of Persia; his sons, Chad (Ashlee Kunze) and Kyle (Kari Kunze); his grandsons, Carter, Nolan and Blake; his sister Carole Bane (Bobby) of Oakland, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Vicki Condon (Jim) of Omaha. He is also survived by 1 niece, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will direct memorial contributions.
