He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick and Mary June; his wife Marilyn Baker; and his siblings, Margaret Hake and J. Norman Rooney.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Mueggenberg (Chuck) of Hamilton, OH and Steve Rooney (Melissa) of Robinsville, N. C.; his grandchildren, Todd Mueggenberg (Amber) of Hamilton, OH, Jill Maasch (Jade) of Loveland, CO and Emma Rooney of Buffalo; and his great grandchildren, Eric, Tyler, Rian, Jack, Annie, Mason and Levi.
Memorials will be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church and sympathy notes for the family may be sent to Murdock Funeral Home, Perry, IA.
