She is survived by: her children, Emilio Mendoza (Barb) of Grimes, IA, Norman Mendoza (Maritza) of Jacksonville, FL, Sharlene Kona of Winston Salem, NC and John Mendoza (Kathy) of White Plains, MD; her granddaughter Tessa Mendoza of Boulder, CO; and her children, Isabel Mendoza of Des Moines, IA, Gionn Mendoza (Maria Cristina Kasandra) of Jacksonville, FL, Mia, Luca Huff of Charlottesville, VA, Brandon Mendoza of Shamokin, PA, Jade, Christian, Vernina, James, Milan Mendoza of White Plains, MD, Devon, LaDaysha, Lavon and Summer Simpson of White Plains, MD..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sunny Hill Cemetery - Grimes (420 SE 6th St, Grimes, IA 50111).
