He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna of Perry; his children, Rick Olson (Judy) of Kansas and Nancy Harris of Arizona; his stepchildren, David Cannon (Peggy) of Perry, Dan Cannon of Texas, Mickey Cannon (Patti) of Shamrock, TX and Vicki Stewart (Roy) of Alabama; and his brother Bill Olson. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
