It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leland Richard Godwin of Perry, Iowa, born in Melcher, Iowa, who passed away on May 1, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Godwin and Mary Godwin (Jenkins); his wife Grace Evelyn Luke; his siblings-in-law, Harold "Ben" Luke and Inez Luke of Woodward, IA; and his nephews, David Luke (Joyce) of Woodward, IA and Terry Luke (Cindy) of Woodward, IA.
