He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Juan Herrera Gonzalez. He is survived by: his parents, Amelia Huaracha Rodriguez and Jose Hernandez Moreno; his wife Araceli Herrera; his daughters, Alejandra, Alexa and Ariana; his siblings, Jesus Hernandez, Maricela Sanchez and Margarita Hernandez; and his close friend Vicente Noyola. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Calendar St Patrick's Catholic Church (1312 3rd St, Perry, IA 50220). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar St. Patrick's Catholic Church (123 Main, Perry, IA 50220). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Violet Hill Cemetery (1700 Park St, Perry, IA 50220).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to support his daughters' education.
