He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Nelson and Vallie Grace Mace (Karr); and his son David Paul Mace. He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Mace (Carl Silberman), Virginia "Ginny" Shanda (Mark) and Christina "Christy" Coffman (Scott); his granddaughters, Ann and Kay Shanda; and his brother Weldon Mace (Jeanne).
