He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan "John" Bekersky and Oksana Bekersky (Stets). He is survived by: his wife Kim Bekersky; his children, Stephen Bekersky, Katharine Luongo, Peter Bekersky and Bonnie Bieber; his sisters, Nadia Cadavero and Daria Bekersky; his niece Kristia Markarian; and his grandson Benjamin Bieber.
