He was predeceased by: his parents, Agatón Villalobos Guardado and Esperanza (Mercedes López); and his siblings, Jorge Elías Villalobos, Alfredo Villalobos, Tránsito Villalobos, Rosa Villalobos of Sandoval and Feliciana Villalobos.
He is survived by: his wife Silvia Posada of Perry; his children, Roberto López (Gemma) of Hesperia, California, Edwin López of Perry, Alex López of Perry, David López (Mirza) of Des Moines, María López (Rolando Perla) of Ottumwa, Iris Fernández (Diego) of Ottumwa, Sandy Villalobos (Esdras López) of Perry and Jorge Villalobos (Lidia Herrera) of Perry; and his sisters, Ángela Villalobos, Teresa Villalobos and Belarmina De Guardado. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 5:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Perry Chapel (Formerly Carris Funeral Home) (1721 Park St, Perry, IA 50220). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar St Patrick's Catholic Church (1312 3rd St, Perry, IA 50220). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Violet Hill Cemetery (1700 Park St, Perry, IA 50220).
