He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clark Chalmer and Valera Mae Dory (Edwards); his wife Karen Jeannette Jacobs of Perry, IA; his sisters, Marilyn Bernhardt, Nancy Copher and Margaret Hardy; his stepmother Anna Dory; his children, David Dory (Mary) of Mitchellville, IA and Sarah Bucklew (Duane) of Perry, IA; his grandchildren, Ashley Bucklew, Bryce Bucklew, Garrhett Bucklew, Jared Dory and Hope Bucklew; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Ariana, Jaxen and Danee; his sisters, Beverly Lamansky, Rosemary Schrier, Shirley Ruge and Sandy Schlotzhauer (Don); and his sister-in-law Emera Maynard.
