She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartvick Lance and Margaret Lance (Schneider); her husband Lamar "Johnnie" Griffin; her son John; her siblings, Raymond Lance and Marie Hennagir; and her son-in-law Jason Whelchel.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Whelchel of Perry, IA; her siblings, David Lance of Valley Center, CA and Mary Ortiz of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Clarissa Miller (Smith), Spencer Smith, Wyatt Whelchel (Melissa) and Grant Whelchel (Ally); and her great grandchildren, Zaden and Ava Miller.
