He was predeceased by: his wife Harriett; his parents, John Schnoor and Anna Schnoor; and his sisters, Marie Crews and Loanna Bloethe.
He is survived by: his children, John Schnoor of Perry, IA, Sue Omestad of Woodbury, MN, Jane Swain of Westmoreland, N. H. and Loraine Wallace of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
