He is survived by: his wife Lee Heckle; his children, Vickie DeFino (Nick), Cindy Heckle of St. Louis and Christopher Heckle (Julie); his grandchildren, Mandy Falbo (Jon), Ben Mikkelsen (Lea) and Anji McCormick (Mark); his children, Michael Heckle (Mary) and Emily Heckle; his great grandchildren, Giovanni and Bishop Falbo; and his grandchildren, Matilda, Rowan Mikkelsen, Liam, Aria, Gabe, Serafina, Niko, Lochlan, Rafael, Magdalena and Ophelia McCormick.
