He is survived by: his wife Alice (Pins); his children, Kim Koeller (Jason) of Kieler, WI, Peggy Steffen (Scott) of Farley, IA, Pam Meinert (John) of Farley, IA, Mark Roling (Sara) of Peosta, IA and Kristin Wessels (Brian) of Dyersville, IA; his grandchildren, Ella, Brie Koeller, Addison, Lincoln, Jaelynn Steffen, Samantha Kruse (Nathan), Olivia Schmitt, Mitch, Emily Meinert, Anna, Leah, Abby Roling, Aiden, Elenora and Harrison Wessels; his great grandchild Josephine Kruse; his brothers, Marv Roling (Gerri), Jim Roling (Susie), Gene Roling (LouAnn), Dennis Roling (Sue) and Gary Roling (Nancy); and his in-laws, Norma Deutmeyer, Bill Pins (Grace) and Luann Pins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to associations supporting Alzheimer's like Bikes Behind Brains and groups supporting cancer research, particularly those related to pancreatic cancer.
