It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Sullivan of Peosta, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sullivan and Nelle Sullivan (Romanelli); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Merchant (McCarthy) of Peosta; his friend Danny McDonnell; his children, Greg Sullivan (Pam) of Fort Wayne, IN, Lynne Murcia, Corinna Merchant of Dubuque, Tanya Cook (Tony) of Peosta and Lynette Gassmann (Gary) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Adam, Kyle (Kihley), Emma Sullivan, William, Madeline Vohl, Ellen, Kara and Renee; his children, Grace Merfeld, Hailey, Harrison Cook, Gavin, Logan and Ethan Gassmann; his aunt Carmen Erickson; and also Brody Vohl.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
