He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brown and Helen Brown (McDermott); his wife Nancy Dorothy; his brothers, Lyle Brown and Phil; his sister-in-law Cheryl Dorothy; and his nephew Cory Schueller.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Drapeau (Kelly) of LeClaire, IA, Megan Lancioni (Jeffrey) of Franklin, WI and Ryan Brown (Emily) of Peosta, IA; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Nathan, Claire, Ben, Drew, Ethan, Owen and Addyson; his siblings, Sheila Brown, Gale Brown, Sharon Kasper (Rick), Gary Brown (Beth), Margie Schueller (Duane) and Glen Brown (Ronna); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Loewenberg (Roger) and Becky Wodrich (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Gerald Brown memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
