She was predeceased by: her parents, Jelle Vries and Anna De Vries (Kuiken); her husband Robert Serrano; her brothers, John S. (Alberta De Vries) and Jerry De Vries; and her brother-in-law Duane Poortinga.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cobie Spoelstra (Bernie), Fran Poortinga and Durk De Vries; her sister-in-law Linda Kuny (Hans); and her stepson Robert Levine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Pella Christian Grade School.
