He was predeceased by: his father Charles Dickinson; his wife Mary Dickinson; his sister Carol Dickinson; his parents-in-law, Marian and Richard Cox; and his brother-in-law John Cox.
He is survived by: his mother Irene Dickinson (Adam) of Fairfield; his children, Carrie Spoelstra (Carter) of Ankeny and Todd Dickinson (Jessica) of Ackley; his grandchildren, Paige Spoelstra, Faith Spoelstra, Gavin Dickinson, Damon Henry, Seth Henry, Kylee Buffington and Maddilyn Buffington; his siblings, Sandra McLain (Jerry) of Milton, Sue Lowe (Bill) of Birmingham, Mike Dickinson (Connie) of Ankeny, Patricia Dickinson, Craig Cole of Lenexa, KS, Ed Dickinson (Teri) of Douds, Leo Dickinson (Iya) of Jacksonville, FL and Annette Bravard (Bryan); and his brothers-in-law, Dale Cox (Eunice) of Swedesberg and David Cox (Brenda) of Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
