It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Van Wyk (Pella, Iowa), born in Kellogg, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Van Manen and Maatje Van Manen (Koopman); her husbands, Kenneth D. Van Der Wilt and Bert Van Wyk; her siblings, Johnny, Peter, Art, Dick and Gertie Verwers; and her stepsons, Norman W. Van Wyk and Roger Van Wyk.
She is survived by: her children, Bryce D. Van Der Wilt and Judy Ver Steegt (Dwight); her family, Bryce, Barb Van Der Wilt, Marla, Duane Van Rees, Drew, Leah Van Rees, Max, Myles, Kyle Van Rees, Tara, Clint Stout, Regan, Jade, Garrett De Hoedt, Adler, Odin, Tate, Monica, Brian Lanser, Bret Lanser, Megan Lanser, McKenna, Marcus, Macy, Abe Flanders, Maury, Stacie Van Der Wilt, Corey, Shelby Van Der Wilt, Larsyn, Kristen Bradley, Judy, Dwight Ver Steegt, Deb, Scott Van Kooten, Matt Ross, Beckett, Hunter, Ryan, Emilie Van Kooten, Micah, Kendra, Calvin Groenendyk, Heidi, Braden Klyn and Olivia Groenendyk; and her stepdaughters-in-law, Lois Van Wyk of Pella and Susan Van Wyk of New York. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
