He is survived by: his wife Dee Hogate of Pella; his children, Betty Jean Roeske (Mike) of Sparta, Charles Alan Hogate of Cashton and Linda Kay Hogate Swenson (Phil) of Madison, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Nicole Norton (Robert), Amy McHugh (Nick), Ben Sullivan (Jenna), Keegan Sullivan and Mallory Betke (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Briell McHugh, Ada Sullivan, Preston McHugh and Jetzyn Sullivan.
