He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Wayne Hayes and Irene R. Hayes (Bellamy); his sister Carolyn (Marvin); and his grandparents, Grandma Hayes (Grandpa Hayes) and Bellamy (Holland).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella or the Faith Christian Reformed Church.
