In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Terpstra and Minnie Terpstra (Van Maanen); her husband Marvin May of Attica; and her granddaughter Loni Ann May. She is survived by: her children, Mark, Monica, Melissa and Marilyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Third Church (708 E 13th St, Pella, IA 50219). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. In 2021, she contracted Covid, which exacerbated her dementia.
