He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Malin and Clara Malin (Price); his wife Barbara Malin; his daughter Marchell "Marty" McNevin; his siblings, Larry Malin, Janice Gleason and Gail Malin; and his brother-in-law John McNaughton.
He is survived by: his daughter Mitzi Gellman of Pella; his granddaughters, Carrie Gellman, Annie Gellman and Paula Stout (Scott); his great grandchild Iris Jane Gellman; his siblings, Wauneta Gerard of Oskaloosa, Darrell Malin (Sachiko) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Sue McNaughton of Pleasant Hill; his son-in-law Scott McNevin; and his brother-in-law John Gleason.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Wesley Life or The Alzheimers and Dementia Research Foundation.
