He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Herman (Opal Lust Nollen); his wife Gloria Hugen of Pella; his children, Marc (Jessica Nollen) of Cedar and Marcy (Todd Milburn) of Newton; his grandchildren, Eli, Parker Nollen, Nathan and Nick Milburn; his sister Janet (Ron Gross) of Pella; his nephew Stephen (Kim Gross) of Pella; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Nancine Hugen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Church in Oskaloosa.
