We bid farewell to Joyce Mattox (Pella, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 20, 2024 at the age of 71. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Richard and Louise Byers (Palmer); and her sister Janice Rost. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Koonce (Pat Rierson) of Sioux Falls, Erin, Emily, Erica, Lizzie, Danielle and Cooper; her siblings, Joleen Gerber (Lonnie) of Pella, Iowa, Martha Kindley (Rick) of Knoxville, Iowa and Bruce Byers (Pamela) of Noble, Oklahoma; and her brother-in-law Jeff Rost of Greenville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home (1301 Main St, Pella, IA 50219). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Berean Baptist Church (314 Main St, Pella, IA 50219).
