She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Terpstra and Pearle Terpstra (Memmelaar); her husband Gerrit Henry Vander Meiden; and her granddaughter Jennifer Steensland. She is survived by: her children, Linda Steensland (Greg) of Council Bluffs, Lyle Vander Meiden (Kathy) of Pella, Mark Vander Meiden (Kathy) of Oskaloosa, Marcia Aguilar (Guillermo) of Pella and Keith Vander Meiden of Burbank, California.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
