“He saved my life once: We were on a lake near Longview, with a speedboat that had a tow line that could pull skiers or people on boogie boards. I was on a boogie board with a life jacket with metal clip-ons. While Dave was driving the speedboat, I realized the tow rope was tangled with the clips on my life jacket. I was seconds away from having a broken neck. Panicking, I signaled to Dave to stop the boat, which he did, dived into the water, and untangled the tow line from my life jacket.”
