He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Willemsen; and his grandparents, Neal, Gertrude Willemsen, Gerald and Mae Van Zante.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Willemsen (Van Zante); his sons, Jack Willemsen and Brody Willemsen; and his siblings, Teresa Beyer (Harvey) of Otley, Gary Willemsen (Laura) of Pella, Annie Vander Werff of Jesup and Caroline Gehrls (Chris) of Hiawatha, Iowa..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Federated Church (309 Roosevelt Rd, Pella, IA 50219). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Silent City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Marion County 4-H.
