He is survived by : his parents, Jack Pope and Ronda Pope (Wright) of Pella; his daughter Loguen Ruby; his wife Libby; his sister Ryan Peters (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Leo, Greyson and Elliotte of Waukee; his grandparents, Edith Pope, John and Carol Wright; his parents-in-law, Patrick and Della Payton; his sibling-in-law Erin Dickerson (Todd); his nieces and nephews, Hailey and Celeste; his siblings-in-law, Brad Korte, Anastasia, Kati, Stephanie, Felicia and Tiffany; and his pets, Olli and Rudy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family members.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Third Church (708 E 13th St, Pella, IA 50219). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family or to Turner Syndrome Society of the United States.
