He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Austin Newell (Lysandra) of Galesburg and Elana Newell of Sully; his sisters, Arlene Newell (Jay Hutchings) of Floris and Amy Verseman (late David) of Wentzville, Missouri; his parents-in-law, Carl and Gloria Van Zee of Colfax; and his sister-in-law Carla Burgin (Dan) of Des Moines. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
