He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy William and Fern Harshbarger (Malen); and his siblings, Marjorie Kolbe, Jean Hucka and Dwight Harshbarger.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Conlon of Paullina, Iowa; his children, Gary Harshbarger (Daina) of Woodville, Texas, Lonnie Harshbarger (Stephanie) of Sioux Center, Iowa, Kathleen Petersen (Mark) of Omaha, Nebraska, Minde Coleman (Chad) of Hartley, Iowa, Jason Coleman (Lindsay) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jessica Kunkel (David) of Remsen, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tanna Bonanno, Tatum Patterson, Toni Hall, Tiffany Harshbarger, Ethan Petersen, Emily Gadsden, Olivia Moret, Wilson Harshbarger, Charlee King, Quinny King, Logan Coleman, Graysen Coleman, Cooper Coleman and Joshua Coleman; and his sister Judy Wooters of Apple Valley. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
