It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle W. Wallin of Paullina, Iowa, born in Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wallin and Ruby Wallin (Jones); his brother Gene; and his sister-in-law Judy Wallin. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Larson; his children, Stacy Funkhouser (John) of Paullina, Iowa and Scott Wallin (Ashley) of Paullina, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Danielle Funkhouser, MaKenna, Jaelyn Wallin and Brendon Sullivan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
