It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Joan Koester (Paullina, Iowa), who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Berger and Elsie Pavlik Berger of Hinton, Iowa.; her daughter Lynne Ranae; her parents-in-law, Gottfrid, Julia Polson (Loren D. Polson) and Lynne Ranae; her brothers, William J. Berger and Dean (Ruby Berger); her son-in-law Larry Jorgensen; and her granddaughter Kelly Laughery.
She is survived by: her former husband Loren D. Polson; her husband Weber H. Koester of Paullina, Iowa.; her children, Cynthia Ann Rubenstein, Dale Duane Polson (Kathy) and Eric Brian Polson (Carol); her stepchildren, Debra Jorgensen, Pamela Laughery, Gary Koester (Peg), Tracey Feldotto (Tom), Cindy Griebel (Jay) and Janey Brooner (Mike); and her grandchildren, Mark Jorgensen, Kyle Jorgensen (Destiny), Tyler Jorgensen (Ashley), Ryan Laughery (Hillary), Christina O'Hare (Ryan), Derek Laughery (Katie), Brandi Sestak (Tim), Jennifer Wall (Bart), Michael Koester, Jessica Polson (Christopher Miller), Ethan Polson (Chelsea), Emily Polson, Julia Polson, Bedilu Polson, Conner Feldotto, Sara Feldotto, Jackson Griebel, Jacob Griebel, Jayden Griebel, Stephanie Brooner and Lucy Brooner. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
