He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maxine "Deanie" Richter (Rogers) and Leslie "Les" Richter of Sanborn, Iowa; his sister Sandy Pearson of Granville, Iowa; his nieces, Lezlie Pearson of Orange City, Iowa, Amanda Moerman (Lee) of Orange City, Iowa and Elizabeth Siepka of Colton; his nephew Andrew Pearson of Granville, Iowa; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Jonathan, Jessica Moerman, Curtis, Lukaus Pearson and Skylar; his brother-in-law Carvell Pearson; and his nephew-in-law Nik Siepka. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
