He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mack and Lela Leona Benge (Parker); his former wife Margaret; and his daughter Wanda. He is survived by: his wife Norma; and his son Alan (Lori). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
