She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daryl Lee, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Vandiver (Zimmerman); her husband Charles "Charlie" Harper; her children, Kurt Harper (Kim Brown) of Des Moines, IA and Kathy Dingman (Doug Jurgens) of Winterset, IA; her stepson Charles Clyde Harper (Helen); her grandchildren, Brian Drake (Alisa) and Lonnie Drake; her great grandchildren, Isaac Harper and Wyatt Drake; and her brothers, Ronnie Vandiver (Alice Faye) of Maryville, MO and Daryl Lee Vandiver of Bethany, MO. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
