He was predeceased by: his parents, Barrett "Jack" Overman and Florine Ada Dudley (Chance). He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean; his children, Dennis Dudley (Julie) of Parkersburg and Vicki Harken of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Nicole Gosch (Jody), Ryan Dudley (Lori Honermann), Kristin Grandon, Abby Harken (Danny), Alex Harken (Alisha Schares), Tyler Wildeboer (Nicole), Chance Wildeboer (Alex) and Tessa Allison (Mike); and his sister Audrey Handeland of Ames.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later distribution.
