Sylvia Jansen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2019, at the age of 94, Sylvia Jansen (Parkersburg, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vanderwerf and Cora VanTiger Vanderwerf; her husband Paul Jansen; her daughter Paulette; her daughter-in-law Lisa Jansen; her brothers, Rev. Calvin Vanderwerf, William and Wilbur Vanderwerf; and her sister-in-law Sally Vanderwerf.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Jansen (Sara) of Cedar Falls, Linda Scallon (Joe) of Iowa Falls, Lugene Jansen (Jane) of Bella Vista, Ron Jansen of Pella, Twila Jansen of Cedar Falls and Troy Jansen of Ames, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Quintin Jansen, Matt Jansen (Kari), Sara Bonney (Craig), Mark Scallon (Jenon), Amy Geis (Vince), John Scallon (Kelsey), Rachel Baker (Dave), Emily Keith (Jason), Garret Jansen (Hannah Stewart), Elisabeth Jansen and Joseph Jansen. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two nephews; two nieces; and one brother-in-law.
