It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mildred Behrends of Parkersburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Wessels and Mildred Wessels (Hassman); her parents-in-law, Ben and Grace; her sister-in-law Gladys Bierman; and her son-in-law Wayne Ziwiski.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Wessels; her husband Edward of Parkersburg; her daughters, Ranae Ziwiski (late Wayne) of Hampshire, IL and Renise Aswegen (Bryon) of Parkersburg; her brother Ron Wessels (Colleen) of Parkersburg; and her sister-in-law Gertrude. She is also survived by five grandchildren (and their spouses) and three great-grandchildren.
