She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carpenter and Dorothy Ellsworth Carpenter; her sister Linda Crook; and her daughter Barbara Lovejoy. She is survived by: her husband Robert Stokes; and her children, Mike Clements, Terrie Skeens (Charlie), Susan Nelson (John), Penny Thompson (Craig), Daniel Stokes (Sarah) and Darren Stokes (Rebecca). She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
