It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mennen (Parkersburg, Iowa), who passed away on August 12, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Mennen and Henrietta Mennen (Miller); his wife Adel; his siblings, Douglas Mennen and Inez Huisman; and his son-in-law Bill Batchelder.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Batchelder of Waterloo, Tammi Morgan (Marty) of Waterloo and Vance Mennen of Reinbeck; his grandchildren, Jeremy Mennen (Heather), Amber Batchelder (Josh Freeland), Austin Mennen (Joanna Dunleavy), Gabrielle Morgan and Hannah Morgan; his great grandchildren, Azalea, Violet Mennen, Haleigh, Jaxon Batchelder, Zander Freeland, Elijah and Gianni Morgan; his siblings, Merlin Mennen (Marlene) of Grundy Center, Dennis Mennen (Lois) of Parkesburg and Linda Kessler (Jerry) of Parkersburg; and his brother-in-law Delbert "Stub" Huisman of Parkersburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
