Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Evelyn Karsjens (Kramer); her son Brent Bergman; her father Edward Karsjens; her sister Alma Raber; and her father-in-law Carl Bergman.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her siblings, Clarence Karsjens (June) of Parkersburg and Yvonne Keller (William) of Dike, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Shirley Kent. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (304 2nd St, Parkersburg, IA 50665). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
