He is survived by: his wife Kathy Buss Miller; his daughters, Melissa Aalfs of Cedar Rapids and Miekka Aalfs of Aplington, Iowa; his stepchildren, Stacy Miller of Waterloo, Jamie Miller (Paige) of Cedar Falls and Jonny Miller of Parkersburg; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Estelle, Evelyn, Waylon, Harlyn and Abe; his brother Loren Aalfs (Deb) of Cedar Falls; and his nephews, Tyler and Quinn Aalfs. He is also survived by many brother and sisters-in-law.
