He was predeceased by: his father Justin Koenen; and his in-laws, C. Lee and Rita Fox. He is survived by: his mother Elaine Koenen (Haats) of Waterloo; his wife Teri Fox of Parkersburg; his child Lea Jones (Ryan); his grandchildren, Ayla, Isaiah and Violet of Peculiar, MO; his daughter Laura Korkow (Dustin); his granddaughter Millie of Waterloo; his daughter Jessica Efkamp (Kent); his grandsons, Lucas Jay and Cole of Johnston; his son Justin Koenen (Olivia) of Largo, FL; and his siblings, Corrine Yarwood (Mark) of Waterloo and Daniel Koenen (Karen) of Ankeny.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
