With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johanna Reiners of Parkersburg, Iowa, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 103. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Johanna Reiners to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry DeGroote and Elizabeth DeGroote (Van Hauen); her husband Heiko Jerry Reiners; her daughter Carol Reiners; and her siblings, Anna Huisinga, Florence Lewis, Elizabeth Collings, Henrietta Benning, Henry DeGroote, Harm DeGroote and Marion DeGroote.

She is survived by: her sons, Henry Reiners (Bonnie), Heiko, Jr. Reiners (Karen) and Dennis Reiners (Terry); and her sister Sarah Truax (Donavan). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
