It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dean Peters of Parkersburg, Iowa, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Louis A. Peters. He is survived by: his mother Jessie Peters (Schipper) of Aplington; his wife Sandy of Parkersburg; his children, Clint Peters (Kristi) of Panora, Josh Peters (Lindsay) of Aplington and Marci Taylor (Trent) of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ballard (Chase), Coby Peters, Brady, Nathan, Austen Peters, Ava and Elijah Taylor; his sisters, Marge DeVries (Vernon) of Aplington, Lou Stockdale (Alan) of Parkersburg and Lori Bantz (Wes) of Fairbank, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Geist of Parkersburg and Joyce Geist of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
