He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Clausing (Wolf) and Theodore Clausing; and his siblings-in-law, Bernita Wikner and Virgil Meswarb. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Brase; his sons, Rev. Dean Clausing (Susan) of Benton and Craig Clausing (Jean) of Waverly, Iowa; his grandchildren, David Clausing (Alicja Urbaniak), Christine Koch (Aaron), Cody Clausing (Laura) and Cara Geffert (Hite); his great grandchildren, Noah, Sam Koch and William Judson Geffert; his sister Darlys Meswarb; and his siblings-in-law, LaVern, Jeanette Brase and Vernon Wikner.
Services will be held later, after COVID – 19 restrictions are lifted with burial of cremains in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly.
