She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Lindeman and Annie Lindeman (Tjebkes); her husband Clifford Thorne; her grandchildren, Christopher and Christina Hofmeister; and her brothers, Harold and Dennis Lindeman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charla Jungling (Alvin) of Melbourne, IA, Rhonda Hofmeister (Darwin) of Ackley, IA and Sherri Schwerdtfeger (Leon) of Parkersburg, IA; her grandchildren, Jerrid Jungling (Angie), Emily Handy (Gabe), Kristin Dvorak (Matt), Darin Hofmeister (Hanna), Shelby Abbas (James), Stacy Webber (Isaac), Nathan Schwerdtfeger and Annie Dohrn (Adam); and her sister Arlyce Shirar (Frank) of Allison, IA. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
